Rosacea is one of the most common skin disorders affecting Australians and yet very little is known about its' causes. In recent surveys by the National Rosacea Society, nearly 70% of rosacea clients said their condition had lowered their self esteem and self-confidence, and had adversely affected their professional interactions.
While the cause of rosacea is unknown, and there is no cure, with correct medical treatment the signs and symptoms can be effectively controlled. Any of the following warning signs is a signal to seek help before the condition becomes increasingly severe:
- * Redness on the cheeks, nose, chin, or forehead
- * Small visible blood vessels on the face
- * Bumps or pimples on the face
- * Watery or irritated eyes.
At Clear Complexions, we can reduce the redness of rosacea with the correct skincare, light technology and/or Omnilux Medical™. This is an area of speciality for our nurses so act quickly if you suspect you have this debilitating and embarrassing condition.

"The results are amazing. My complexion has a glow to it, so much so that I do not look older than early forties (so I have been told) even though I am in my fifties. I now have more confidence, knowing that I look "good" Pauline. A very grateful, happy and satisfied customer."
