Novaderm dermal stimulation works by a process called needling. The Novaderm machine has an acupuncture needle attached to it. By penetrating each individual scar and separating the skin from the fibrous tissue beneath, a pocket is created. Using electrical stimulation, we are able to stimulate the collagen producing cells (fibroblasts) to overproduce collagen in this area. Over time the scar is filled by your own collagen and is a permenant solution to those unslightly scars.
